Be Still

Updated: Sep 16, 2024

How many times have we heard this phrase or even seen it on beautiful signs and probably bought them and hang them in our walls, just because It’s such a peaceful and beautiful saying.

But do we apply it? Do we really believe these words?

You know as humans is hard to BE STILL, specially in this fast paced world that we lived in, we want to understand, we want know everything and we are probably constantly have a pretty long to do list. So we keep going and going, doing and doing until we get so caught up in this vicious circle of business that we lose focus, we get overwhelmed, stressed, frustrated,etc... Why??? Why is this? Well because we keep trying to to things with our strength and yet we don’t understand why are we feeling the way we are feeling.

The Bible says in : Philippians 2:13(AMP)

For it is [not your strength, but it is God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure

It’s not by our own strength, abilities, knowledge, but only thru God that we are going to be able to achieve and do all things. His constantly working in us ( if we allow him) strengthening us so that when we are weak, He can make us strong , so that He can be glorified ❤️

I encourage you to slow down, to stop, to be still, to be quiet so that we can mute all the noise around us and listen to His Voice, to open our eye and be aware of His presence. Allowing Him to do want He wants to do thru us. So that no matter what comes are way you can be still and know that He is God and His right there by your side
